Bots and skills
Give the agent a persona, and add your own skills.
Both live under Control Center › Agent tools. Only an organization's owner changes them.
Agent bots
A bot is a persona the agent writes as. It has a name and description, and four parts that make up its system prompt:
| Part | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Soul | Who it is. |
| Memory | What it should remember: your role, your products, the people you work with. |
| Style | How it writes. |
| Instruction | What it must or must not do. |
The form previews the prompt the model receives. Mark one bot as the default: the AI Drafts queue writes in its voice. Without one, the built-in persona is used.
Skills
Skills run on one email from the reader's Skills menu or as a /command in the assistant. Each organization starts with the built-in skills; the owner can turn any of them off.
A custom skill has a name, a description and an instruction. The instruction is yours, so it is part of the system prompt; the email stays in the conversation as data.
